Make the licence clear before checkout
A software name alone is rarely enough. State the edition, supported operating systems, device allowance, licence duration and region restrictions next to the price. If a product is a renewal or an upgrade, say so before the customer adds it to their basket. These details help buyers choose correctly and give support a clear record of what was offered.
Prepare delivery before you publish
Attach the right download and redemption instructions to the product. Check available key stock and make a purchase through your payment provider's sandbox before accepting customers. A successful payment should lead to an order record, an invoice and the files or licences the buyer purchased. Verify that journey from the buyer's account as well as the back office.
Treat access as part of the product
Customers return for their download, invoice or activation instructions long after checkout. Keep those items together in their account. Limit staff access to sensitive licence information, reveal keys only when needed, and retain a record of replacements. A support agent should be able to find the original order before making a change.
Start with one complete journey
Creativemark brings product content, checkout, licence allocation and customer operations into one workflow. Start with a small, well-described catalogue, verify delivery, then expand it. A complete journey for ten products is more useful than a large catalogue with missing files or unclear licence terms.
